Views around the Inn
The inn sits on two quiet acres at the end of a peninsula that juts into Bass Harbor.
Below are two photos taken near the tip of Ann's Point.
The village of Bass Harbor sits just across the harbor from the Inn.
Below are photos taken from the Inn showing the harbor, nearby Sawyer's Island,
and the village in the distance.
The water in the harbor flows with the tides.
Along the shoreline are lots of interesting rocks,
wonderful for poking around at low tide or just sitting on a rock to watch the water flow.
There are also a few sandy spots ideal for launching a kayak.
The days are long during the summer,
but it often is worthwhile to get up early for sunrise and to wait for sunset.
